Dr. Soo Young Yang, Chairman

Dr.Soo Young Yang, Chairman and founder of Histogenetics, a state-of-art laboratory specialized in HLA Typing, pioneered in the development of biochemical and molecular typing methods for HLA at Memorial Sloan-kettering Cancer center.

With over 25 years of extensive research and experience in HLA genetics, Dr. Yang has created invaluable reagents and informatics for biotechnical and molecular typing of HLA that have contributed significantly to the field of human immunogenetics.

This internationally recognized expertise forms the foundation of Histogenetics' advanced technologies and services.

Dr. Nezih Cereb, Chairman

Dr.Nezih Cereb President and co-founder of Histogenetics ,has been a long-time collaborator with Dr.Yang. Alongside Dr. Yang, he has played a key role in elucidating the HLA-Class 1 intron sequences(1994)- which made HLA-class 1 DNA typing feasible.

Dr. Cereb is an expert in introducing and implementing the latest technology for HLA typing. He has a background in clinical medicine, particularly bone marrow transplantation and basic and applied immunogenetics research.

With the founders' combined expertise, Histogenetics is scientifically and technologically strong, dynamic, and forward looking.

Raghu RajagopaL, CEO

Raghu Rajagopal is the co-founder and CEO of DATRI Blood Stem Cell Donor Registry. He is the founder and CEO of Energeate a consulting and advisory company based in Chennai. He has extensive experience in building companies that leverages the offshore model. He played a key role in building the NASDAQ listed SeraNova a pure-play eBusiness services company where he was the Head of Strategic Accounts and CEO of the India operations. He co-founded ikigo a Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) software company. He was the EVP of Sales and Marketing of SwiftResponse a BPO company which was acquired by ESSAR backed Aegis BPO. He had a brief stint with i-flex in Chennai before starting Energeate.

Raghu Rajagopal is the Secretary/Treasurer and Charter Member of TiE Chennai. He is the Program Co-Ordinator of the angel investment fund called Chennai Fund.

He is actively involved in mentoring entrepreneurs. He is on the board of an ERP/CRM software for schools – www.schoolmate.in and an education marketplace www.2tion.com

He holds an Engineering degree from BITS, Pilani.
